I'sogari Sou'to

Retainer, scholar, relic hunter, miner, farmer of the Shroud, lady of the Desert, deckhand of the Sea, anyone and no one.

I'sogari is the name of a skilled rogue, trained in the art of disguise by the shinobi of the east as a member of The Maelstrom's spy intellegence network.

Born in Limsa Lominsa, I'sogari was the second child of a Seeker cook and a Keeper minstrel with wanderlust.While I'sobe mixed their father's startling teal eyes with their mother's sunkissed looks, I'sogari could have been the spitting image of their father if not for slit pupils. A tumultuous childhood of jealously and heartache led I'sogari to spend the days blending in with Limsa's orphans, a regular source of recruits for the Upright Thieves. There was surprise on both sides when I'sogari's eyes met her mother's, her job as a 'cook' at The Dutiful Sisters of the Edelweiss was nothing but a cover for the justice carried out in the shadows of the city.The keen insight of the man who would become I'sogari's master was proved with his first question, 'how would you like to learn to become anyone you want?' I'sogari was a quick study, and the experience of being seen as several different people from head to toe, regardless of gender, brought with it answers and understanding to the root cause of so much unhappiness, 'she' had never had the words to describe that sometimes 'he' felt more right.Now traveling Eorzea and beyond at the behest of the Maelstrom, I'sogari goes wherever they are needed, to infiltrate, punish, kidnap, or kill. Between assignments they often take on a role to help find hidden things others want found, or other lost or rare things that might someday be useful for coin or favors.I'sogari is confident, perhaps a little too forthright, and easily slips into a handful of identities that various groups are familiar with though none know the name I'sogari. The job comes before all, which leaves even the rare romantic partner with a fake persona that eventually vanishes when the relationship becomes too much of a liability.

Would prefer people not just walk up and see through the disguises, but free to walk up using 'code words' while looking for an unknown agent, or have been told to 'look for the woman/man wearing x'Family
